Pools will enhance and fit into any landscaping style. Although pools do require regular maintenance having a schedule, helps keep anyone ahead. The sparking blue color is just not from the liner or blue tile. It means the water is so clear and clean it sparkles. To maintain that sparkle in any swimming pools means it must be tested and treated. Chlorination is the most popular method for pool maintenance.

Using an orthotolidine or OTO kit will test the chlorine and pH levels of the water. The kit will indicate whether there is too much or not enough. Collected pool water is combined with drops from the kit. The mixture will turn color indicating chlorine or pH levels. Kits can contain test strips that change color.

Many homeowners to control the pools pH or acidity will regulate it using baking soda a natural acid regulator. Soda ash can also be used to control pH levels. Too much acid in the water will burn eyes and corrode metal parts. Too low on acid will cause water to become alkaline drying out skin and hair.

Cloudy water can be caused by algae normally controlled by proper chorine levels. Algae control can be added if the problem persists. Clarifying solution can also be added to pool water to clear up cloudy water caused by floating particles. Clarifiers contain alum, which will bind particles together to be vacuumed or filtered out of the water.

Dirty pool bottoms will make the pool look cloudy. Vacuum regularly or use an automatic vacuuming system that attaches to the pools filtration system. Skim the pool surface as needed leaves and grasses will breakdown-causing cloudiness. Skim as soon as leaves and floating debris is discovered.More info here: Study Links to Swimming Pool Chemicals to Cancer

If you are considering having a new pool installed in your home this upcoming year, knowing the best installation experts, and the best new designs and styles which are “in” this year, is going to give you not only the best installers to do the job, but will also give you the pool which others will be envious of. So, the first thing to consider is hiring the right experts for the job. This will ensure you have those who know what they are doing, and who can really do the job right, from the installation, to the maintenance of the pool and its surroundings.

You also want to look into design styles, and find out what patterns, shapes, and design styles are in for the upcoming year, and what has become outdated. This will allow you to have a pool that is going to be in style, and something that you, your family, and any friends and neighbors who come over, are going to love to swim in. You will get years of enjoyment out of the pool. But, when you are having an installer do the job, you must make sure you have the right style in place.

Installing lights in your pool can make for an attractive swim at night, but there are many options you can choose from. For underwater lighting there are many options you can choose from such as colored lenses for a festival look, or just simple soft white glow lights for a peaceful appearance. Choosing pool lights for nighttime ensures you will have a safe swim, but you must make sure that the light’s ray will reach across the pool and illuminate it correctly. Floating lights can create an amazing array of colors across the surface of the pool. You could choose from many types of lights including, spheres, illuminated jellyfish, light show fountains, bright flower blooms, and disco style roaming lights. Solar powered, or low voltage batteries in waterproof cases make the lights pool friendly. Fiber optic and LED lights can instantly make your pool look brand new and up to date, and they can give you more control over the hue of your pool water. You have the options of mixing lights for an interesting glow, and bathing your pool in soft glows to relax. Pole lights can achieve all the lighting you need without having to buy underwater lights.

There are many different styles and options when choosing a backyard swimming pool. There are many deciding factors to consider, such as: your budget, where you live, the size of your yard, maintenance and upkeep costs, your lifestyle. Each person’s needs are different, so it is important to carefully weigh your options. With so many styles available, it is certain you will find the right pool to suit your needs.
If you have young children, a shallow pool with lots of play area would be a good choice. If you’re a professional swimmer or love to exercise, then a lap pool would be right for you.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here. If you’re into water sports, then a volleyball style pool would be the right fit. A pool that is deep in the middle and shallow near the ends works well for water sports.
Above-ground pools are usually the least expensive. They are the answer for those who don’t want to commit to the costs and maintenance of an inground pool. If you’re ready for a pool, but not ready to have a permanent structure installed, then an above-ground pool is the way to go.
In-ground pools are more expensive, and are considered to be a permanent home improvement. They add value to your home, and are more appealing to potential buyers. The options are endless, therefore it’s important to choose the right pool to suit your needs.
